Digital fingerprinting involves using a live scan device to capture your fingerprints electronically instead of using traditional ink and paper cards. The captured prints are then sent directly to the relevant state agency for your Level 2 background check.

Appointments are necessary for fingerprinting. Please contact us by phone or submit a request to schedule your appointment.

To complete the digital fingerprinting, you need to bring:

  • A valid government-issued photo ID (such as a Driver’s License, DMV ID, Passport, Military ID, or Resident Alien Card)
  • An ORI Number
  • For DCF-related fingerprinting, include your OCA number

The ORI Number, or Originating Agency Identifier, is provided by your employer or regulatory body. It is essential to provide the correct ORI Number for the live scan process. Without it, you won't receive your fingerprint results, so make sure to bring this number with you.

The OCA Number, or Originating Case Agency Number, is assigned by DCF to identify the entity requesting the background check. Both the ORI and OCA numbers are crucial for processing and directing your results to the right place.

The entire fingerprinting procedure usually takes between 5 and 10 minutes, depending on how clear your prints are and the accuracy of the provided information.

We do not provide copies of background checks. The results are sent electronically to your employer or licensing authority, who will decide if they will provide a copy for your personal records.

As of January 1, 2013, legislative changes have affected the background screening fees. Currently, only agencies like AHCA and DOH have increased fees, with potential future changes expected. For current rates, please contact us at (800) 711-4916.

Results typically arrive within 3 to 5 business days. Please ensure all information is accurate before submission, as we do not offer refunds once the scan is processed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

We accept major credit cards and cash. Please note that personal checks are not accepted.
